Atif Aslam is all set to use his voice to pay tribute to the victims of September 11th, 2001. Atif, who shot up during the same period, will be performing a gig for a charity benefit at an indoor theatre in Times Square in New York City with the former members of the American hard rock band Guns N’ Roses. This will be the first time that all artists of the ‘Pakistan America Peace Through Music Project‘ will be performing together.

He announced the news via his twitter account. He tweeted,

“I will be performing live with the legendary Slash, Shaun Lenon, Matt Sorum, Gilby Clarke & Lanny Cordola, tomorrow (14th September, 2011) at the “Best Buy Theatre” in New York. The performance will begin by 7:30pm. The performance will be dedicated to the victims of 9/11 and the kids of Pakistan (Youth United).”
