At the music release of Ready on Monday evening Zarine Khan clung to Salman’s side with single-minded determination while the film’s leading lady Asin maintained a discreet distance happy to let Ms Khan (who has only a guest appearance in the film) be the superstar’s arm-candy for the evening.

Everyone knows Salman Khan was in his element at the music release of Ready on Monday evening at Film City.

But the actual fun began after the music release when Salman decided to have an impromptu bash in his pad that has been put up for him at Film City for the shooting of his brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri’s Bodyguard.

A birdie who was on an extended vacation in Thailand has just returned with goss from the sets of Ready.

During the recent shoot of the Salman Khan-Asin starrer, the birdie chirps, “Sallu had a private get-together one night from 10 pm to 4 am. The star stood behind the bar counter throughout the night at his suite.

As a result, the rest of the folk in the room, too, had to stand along with him. And this included some guys who had come to meet Sallu for an endorsement deal as well as a few cast and crew members!”

Phew! They must have all headed to the nearest foot massage parlour the next day!

Anees Bazmee all applause for Asin: It’s time for Asin to hog the limelight. After reporting about her comeback, now listen to who all stand in awe of her acting skills. Now, it is the turn of her director Anees Bazmee to shower some praise on the actress. According to the filmmaker, who has directed her in her forthcoming film READY, “Asin is a surprise package. I was bowled over by her acting prowess and she comes worth such lucidity on screen that you cannot stop admiring her.”

Asin Thottumkal drops out with hair specialist? Asin Thottumkal reportedly threw a tantrum at her stylist because she was unhappy with the number of extensions that the woman put into her hair. According to The Times of India, the actress accused the stylist of deliberately making her look “ugly”. A source told the paper: “The situation was so tense in the dressing room that the hair stylist even contemplated quitting.

“However, at one point, she snapped back, which is when Asin said that she was being deliberately sabotaged by someone who wanted her to look ugly, and she stormed out of the make-up room.”Thottumkal puts at least six hair extensions in to make her hair look thicker, the site claims. Asin in Rajinikanth’s Raana restricted by Hindu People Party: Recently Asin was included in the list of probable actress to romance with Rajinikanth in Raana. She and Deepika Padukone are expected to be cast in lead roles since both are known faces in Bollywood and can fit into the Hindi version of the trilingual film well.

But it seems her enthusiasm may be dampened from the opposition for her inclusion in Raana from unexpected quarters, Hindu People Party. Rajinikanth who plans for his venture always by avoiding controversies shall take a decision considering this development.

Hindu people Party and other Hindu Nationalist parties are nowadays concentrating in Ealem Tamils issue. Asin has been targeted now since she went to Columbo disobeying the ban by a section of Tamil Film industry. Kajal Agarwal enter in bollywood: Kajal Agarwal, having consolidated her position as one of the most sought-after contemporary heroines, is now moving towards Bollywood.

After a constant watch for the right chance, she has accepted a role opposite Ajay Devgn for the remake of Suriya`s Tamil hit Singam (dubbed in Telugu as Yamudu). The film will be directed by Rohith Shetty. Anushka was initially chosen but after she denied the role they moved on to Kajal.

Interestingly, many heroines from South, Shriya, Trisha, Asin and Priyamani, have tried their luck in Bollywood, but they had to make a U-turn at the very initial stage, with just one or two films. Let us wait and see how Kajal wades through the high-voltage competition there.

Bollywood hunk Salman Khan turned nurse for Asin who fell ill while shooting for their upcoming film ‘Ready’.

The actor who is reuniting with the Southern beauty after their 2009 film ‘London Dreams’ made sure that she got plenty of rest and ate her medicines on the sets of the film.

“Salman was extremely caring right through the shoot of ‘Ready’ and especially when I was ill. I caught an infection and even as I continued to shoot, I was on constant medication. Salman made sure that I ate properly, ” the actress said.
