Shah Rukh Khan apparently didn’t attend a recent awards event, because Salman was performing there…

It seems the two Khans Shah Rukh and Salman are still not in a mood to let bygones be bygones and patch up. The Don 2 star gave a recently held awards event a miss. Rumour is that this was due to his rivalry with long time foe Salman.

A source reveals, “Since Sallu was to perform at the awards (event), Shah Rukh being his rival did not confirm his attendance until the last minute. And he didn’t turn up.”

Apparently there is another reason as well for SRK skipping the event.

The source adds, “SRK was not very pleased with the organisers for giving the Best Actor award to Salman for Dabangg instead of him for My Name Is Khan, last year.” Read the rest of this entry »

Sonakshi Sinha and Akshay Kumar act together in Joker: Sonakshi Sinha and Akshay Kumar starrer 3D film ‘Joker’ has already gone on floors last month. And if the recent reports are to be believed then it appears that Farah Khan is planning to shoot one of the highlight songs of the film in the exotic Chandigarh.

The cast and crew of ‘Joker’ are presently stationed in Chandigarh and Farah shall be choreographing this peppy track in this beautiful city. It is her first television ad campaign.And Sonakshi Sinha riding high after the Dabangg and the slew of awards last year, has bagged the coveted campaign as the brand ambassador for Dyna soap. The soap was earlier endorsed by Katrina Kaif. Coincidentally both the divas are Salman Khan’s protégées.

So you would think there would be tension between the two divas, specially since Sonakshi is doing a spate of Salman films. But no such thing!

The two ladies get along very well, thank you. Sonakshi is full of admiration for her senior and thinks Katrina conducts herself in the entertainment industry with great dignity.

Shahruk Khan in Salman Khan out for Dabangg: After the success of Dabangg, everyone wants a piece of Abhinav Kashyap but the Dabangg director is a loyal man! Even though Bollywood baadshah Shah Rukh Khan is eager to work with him, Kashyap has decided to stick with Salman Khan and refused SRK.

Buzz is that Salman wanted Kashyap to start working on Dabangg 2 while King Khan wanted Kashyap to direct a film for Red Chillies Entertainment. The director was caught in crossfire between Bollywood’s most famous archenemies, Mumbai Mirror reported. ‘Katrina had done the Dyna campaign many years back and they haven’t had a brand ambassador after her. So like every brand and celebrity move on, so have Dyna and Katrina. She has moved to Lux. I’ve come in to Dyna, simple!’

Sonakshi Sinha weight lose Bender for Race 2: Newbie Sonakshi Sinha is on a weight loss spree for Abbas Mustan’s “Race 2”. The director of the film has requested Sonakshi to shed her extra kilos as he wants her to do away with her ‘gaon ki gori’ image completely.The 23 year old actress who rose to fame with her debut film “Dabangg” opposite Salman Khan stated “First, I had to lose weight for my debut in Dabangg.”
