It seems the saga of Sonakshi Sinha’s proposed project with the mighty Kamal Haasan is far from over.

Though the delay in the project has forced Sonakshi out, the indefatigable maestro of makeovers, aka Kamal Haasan, has his heart and mind set on Sonakshi. Feelers after feelers are apparently being sent to Sonakshi and her father Shatrughan Sinha.

Says a source, “Now that Kamal Haasan has taken over the direction of the project it is more imperative than ever that he get his first choice for the leading lady, and that’s Sonakshi. The role was written with her in mind. ”

After Rajnikanth’s recovery, shooting of ‘Rana’ will be planned according to the actress’ dates

Although Rajnikanth’s illness has thrown the schedule of Rana out of gear, it looks as if the production plans will still proceed as per the availability of Deepika Padukone’s dates.

The reason being that the south superstar and director K S Ravikumar were so keen to sign the actress, that they assured her that the shooting of the movie would be planned keeping her dates in mind.

It was also agreed that busy Dippy would allot merely eight to 10 days a month for the movie.

“Never mind if the production time extended by a couple of months, to accommodate her,” says a friend of the actress, adding that the superstar and director had flown to Bhopal (where she was shooting for Aarakshan) to finalise her dates for Rana.

Sonam Kapoor Says: I hold no opponents in Bollywood: Catfights and rivalries are dime a dozen in Bollywood but actress Sonam Kapoor who is often pitted against contemporaries like Deepika Padukone and Sonakshi Sinha, says that the “war” is just a media creation.

According to the 25-year-old all the leading ladies of Bollywood can find their own place under the sun. “We all have been here for some time now and are trying to do our best. Deepika gets a call and recognition from Zeenat: Veteran actress Zeenat Aman, who has been rumoured to be upset about the lyrics of the new version of her song ‘Dum maaro dum’, picturised on Deepika Padukone, has reached out to the young actress and congratulated her for looking ‘ravishing’, says a source.

‘Zeenat Aman reached out to Deepika and cleared the miscommunication. She didn’t want Deepika to misunderstand,’ said the source. Zeenat, who featured in the original song from the movie ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’ in 1971, was disturbed with reports that she didn’t like Deepika in the new version. So, she found out Deepika’s number.
