First the good news. “Zindagi…” is one of the most nuanced, evenly paced and well executed films in commercial Indian cinema.

This cross between “Dil Chahta Hai” and “Sideways” is funny and honest, but it is marred by one fundamental flaw – it has nothing important to say.

Yes, to a select few, neo-rich one percent of its audience who find nirvana swimming under Spanish seas or for whom freedom is feeling the wind in your hand from a high speed car, the message is loud and clear – you only live once so live it full.

Producer feels the impact of the promo would be greater with an online premiere

In a marked change from norm, the first teaser promo of Ritesh Sidhwani’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara will have an online release, not a theatrical one.

Most teasers are attached with the prints of current releases. However, the producers of ZNMD feel that since the film targets youth, the impact of the promo would be greater with an online premiere.

Asin & Salman Khan Act together in ‘Ready’: Salman Khan’s first 2011 release – Anees Bazmi directed comedy drama Ready, with co-star Asin – will hit theaters on June 3. The film was earlier slated for release on May 27, 2011, which was also the release date for Farhan Akhtar produced Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, starring Farhan Akhtar, Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol and Katrina Kaif. Ready is a remake of the similarly titled 2008 Telugu film directed by Sreenu Vaitla, starring Ram and Genelia. After facing Box Office heat with the poor show of ‘Tees Maar Khan’, Farah Khan mended her estranged relationship with Shah Rukh Khan. Lara Dutta & Mahesh Bhupathi enjoying honeymoon: It will be a white-themed sangeet for Bollywood actress Lara Dutta and tennis pro Mahesh Bhupathi Friday as the venue will be decorated with white roses and jasmine.

Sunil Chawla, whose Club Fresh will host Lara-Mahesh’s pre-marriage ceremony, said there’s a guest list of 200 guests for the event and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is also expected to attend it.

Hrithik Roshan in 1970s fashion in a red polka: Hrithik Roshan channeled 1970s fashion in a red polka dot shirt at a presser to announce his debut TV reality show ‘Just Dance’ at Filmistan Studios in Goregaon, Mumbai on Wednesday, February 16.

Hrithik, 37, pulled a senior Roshan (a 1970s Bollywood star) by pairing his big collar polka dot shirt with dapper grey suit. His makeover included small frame dark sunglasses, beard and long wavy hair. Hrithik was joined by co-judges Farah Khan and Vaibhavi Merchant.

The show will air on Star Plus on a weekend slot. The event call time was 3 pm, but Hrithik arrived at 5:15 pm; his charm and a few jaw dropping dance moves was all that the audience needed to forget the wait. The show, produced by Fazila Allana’s SOL Productions, will have 56 episodes. Auditions will begin on February 27 across 13 cities in India, UK and USA

Hrithik Roshan has been going out of the way to be involved in Karan Johar’s Agneepath remake.

The unit has been praising Duggu’s dedication. A source reveals, “He’s been taking a personal interest in everything.

On the first day of the shoot, he turned up at the location even though he wasn’t required! Everyone in the crew has been raving about how cooperative he is.”

Ranaut says no to the superhero sequel toplining Hrithik Roshan

Kangna Ranaut was offered a significant role in the Krrish sequel but she turned down the role. Priyanka Chopra and Hrithik Roshan play lead parts in the film.

Kangs and the Roshans became friends after Kites, she was the natural choice for the second lead role. The part is along the lines of Catwoman but she turned it down.
