Former sweethearts Katrina and Ranbir gear up to play similar roles, albeit in different movies

Even before Ranbir Kapoor sets to rock the big screen as a rockstar in Imtiaz Ali’s next, his rumoured ex Katrina Kaif has managed to master the art of playing the guitar.

The actress, who apparently plays a musician in the film, was so keen on getting her notes right she that would ardently practice the guitar whenever she’d get the time.

Thankfully, for her, there was a well-established musician within the crew to help her from going out of tune.

Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan refuse to lock lips in their next film, thanks to the no-kiss clause

Katrina Kaif made an exception in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and kissed Hrithik Roshan in a sequence. However, not again!

The actress, like the other two Khans Salman and Shah Rukh has made it clear that she would never kiss on screen, come what say. The clause doesn’t waver even for ‘good friend’ Salman Khan.

When a situation for a kiss arose in Kabir Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger both Sallu and Kat said a clear no. Says a source, “Kabir Khan had convinced Katrina for the only kissing scene she has done so far in New York.

He was sure she would see how important it was. But with both Salman and Katrina adamant on the no-kiss policy there was no choice but to drop it.”

Actress Katrina Kaif has stepped down as the brand ambassador of Indian Premier League team Royal Challengers Bangalore because she feels she will not be able to do justice to her responsibilities towards the team due to the IPL-4 matches clashing with her shooting schedule.

The Banglaore IPL team had extended her appointment as the brand ambassador for seasons three and four, but she is unable to continue as she would be shooting for Yash Raj Film’s “Mere Brother Ki Dulhan” during IPL-4 beginning April 8.

The film’s shooting is in Agra and, therefore, it won’t be possible for her to make appearances to support the team and hence the decision to step down as brand ambassador, a press statement said. Read the rest of this entry »

Katrina-Salman relationship has gown through lots of ups and downs.

The rumours about their parting ways were strongly doing rounds in recent times. But if sources are to be believed the beautiful pair are still growing strong and the rumours about Katz seeing her Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani co-star Ranbir Kapoor have proved baseless.

This was confirmed when both were spotted getting close at the rehearsal of Star Screen Awards.

A reliable source from the sets informs, “At the rehearsal of Star Screen Awards, Salman was about to leave and at the same time, Katrina Kaif entered and requested him to stay back. Maybe it was the excitement of winning her first award. But in her thank-you speech on Thursday night after winning the Screen award for Best Actor Popular Choice (whatever that means!) for her performances in Raajneeti and Tees Maar Khan, Katrina completely forgot to make any mention of Farah Khan.

Says a source close to Katrina, “Forget Farah. Katrina didn’t make any mention of Tees Maar Khan (TMK) at all! Though the award was for her two performances in Raajneeti and TMK she only went on and on about TMK and Raajneeti. Farah who was sitting in the audience and had won an award for Munni badnaam just looked on without any expression.”
